Welcome to Pre-K 3! Meet Mrs. Albert...
St. Thomas the Apostle School has been my home away from home for 32 years. I was born and raised in New Jersey. I came to Connecticut to attend the University of Hartford's College of Education. I received my Bachelors of Science in Early Childhood Education. I also earned a Masters of Science degree in Early Childhood Education. While I was an undergraduate student at the University of Hartford, I also attended St. Thomas the Apostle Church. Who knew that I would be blessed to teach at St. Thomas the Apostle School? I started my career at STA as a third grade teacher and taught in the upper school for 24 years. I then returned to my “first love” of working in early childhood education with the Pre-K 3 Program. The enthusiasm of the children, and their willingness to learn, is infectious. In Pre-K 3, all things are possible. Teaching has enabled me to strengthen my own faith and share it with others.

Meet our Pre-K 3 teaching assistants!
Miss Reneson has worked in STA’s Pre-K Program for 12 years and has loved every minute of it. She is also the director of the After Care Program, where she has worked since 2008. “I have been very fortunate to watch and encourage our students in their learning and growth from Pre-K to 5th grade graduation”, and, we have been lucky to have her!

Mrs. Stuck is excited to start her first year at STA! Originally from Lake Charles Louisiana she spent the last several years in Houston Texas. She moved to Connecticut two years ago. Mrs. Stuck has a B.A. in Psychology and Philosophy and a M.S. in Family Studies and is a Certified Family Life Educator. She enjoys reading, shopping and spending time with my husband Christopher, our daughter Addison and our dog Nymphadora. We are happy to have her as part of our STA family.
